M amps are pc'd and I've seen some of his custom ms1k's...some of the zx were...white and black. All the tantrum stuff and all the old accesories...he did their anodizing also...at one time pg outsourced nothing...just rolled through engineers. All the outsourcing didn't start till just before the octane line. I had been over there before they cleared out and it was impressive. It is sad to have seen what it became over the last five years. Shit they had their own full time installers for years. One is a member here and a local. They pced the sub baskets and all that too. Quite a lot when you consider the actual level of manufacturing that was being done by pg in the day.

that was what was soo cool about them. You could have them do custom work and it wasn't all that big a deal. Arc seems to be doing some things similar to old PG and I hope that they can survive...

Im sure that not why I asked. I just have never seen one like that. Also the fins do look thick and not flat. I think we are all on the same page on the forum
My question is should I just buy it or maybe work something out with you on one of you ms2125 amp....hmmmmm

the idea is you double up on amps and bridge all 12 channels for your 3way front end then use a LE m100 for sub duty 8)

m25's and m44's are super sweet sounding amps for front end duty!

yeah probably from PG. We sent many amps back to them way back to have the colors changed on the amps and/or the silkscreening. Man I wish they still did all that in house...

here is the most resent email

i honestly didn't know it came any other way. i bought it second hand from auto temp and they said that it had just been serviced. there is an rca coming out of the back of the amp instead of the normal spot but everything seemed to work when i hooked it up. i had it installed for about a month and then took it out because i found out that this particular type of amp needs good cooling. it was installed behind the back seat of my truck and i didn't want to fry it.i don't have the coaster or the manual, sorry. the number on the back of the amp i will have to check on and let you know. sorry i'm out of town and will email on monday

I know this was an old post but I do know some of the info on this amp. The car that housed one of two of these amps that were screened by Phoenix Gold was owned by Dan Badcock and they were installed in a Mazda MX-6. He lived in the Red Deer, Alberta area so it would not suprise me if this is one of the amps. This car was a killer sound Q car back in 1995-96 I know I use to compete against him back in the day. Dan retired the car and the last I had heard the car had been either broke into or stolen and the amps had disappeared. I had the car audio magazine this car was in I believe it was Performance Auto & Sound mag.

I always thought it would have been good for PG to put two M50 in a single case. That would have been great for driving old school passive comps plus a sub.
