I saw that this morning. Am I an idiot or does he not even power it up(short of the leds) to listen to it? How do you do a review with out listening too it?

Not much of a review. Pretty much just read the spec sheet. I watched the review on the dd3512's as well. Same thing.
I still can't decide if I should stick with my dd12's or go with the new elite12's.

THAT would pretty much sum up exactly why I didn't renew the subscription to that magazine after the free 3 month trial. Their articles seemed to be the same way. I can read the spec sheet online, as well as look at pics. Glad its heavy and looks perty but then again if he actually did a listening review of it I am not sure I would set any real expectations.

you would need to look a little further to find out that eric is a little more then a pg fanboy. That would require you to stop looking down at the rest of us as if yer better though so that will never happen.

I was looking on the PG website and all it mentions is a dual 4 ohm Elite 12. Is there an Elite 12 in dual 2 ohm?

Tease ...would love to have 2 of them running a 2ohm final load as 1 of those beasts on a single Elite.1 is overkill and not using the amp to its full potential and risk of damaging the sub if ur not careful.

I just wanted to let you all know that i will be building my enclosure for the elite 12d 2nd gen woofer sometime soon, i will then compare it to the 1st gen and give you all my opinion on the overall differences between the two.
just wanted to add to this thread since i see alot of postasking about the differences.
