ill give you a little background.
87 nissan sentra 2 door
10 cubic ft tuned at 29
ports fire through the rear deck

when i ordered these on the jl program they didnt approve of
my car, they sent the local rep plus the regional rep. i had the box
already in the car just waiting for subs. the tech support guy didnt
believe i was gonna get this in a trunk so the rep had to approve teh
order,(they thought i meant 15w6s)
when they saw the box in the car the rep called jl and told them to send it.

no actually if i could find the other pics i could show you
but no the bottom where the seat cushion goes was a amprack
showing thebottoms of two ms2125
the quarter windows had a ms275 under each one for each door.
they also showed guts.
then i had all trim panels wrapped in grey viynl to clean it up.
on each side i had two 1.2 pg caps feeding thems 2125s

a wrangler nw 225 alternator installed (boy that was fun)
powered this bitch up.

this car was loud.......................................................
never did a spl check, it wanst brutal inside as some cars i heard
but it was loud and low outside teh car..dude i mean stupid loud
my friends used to tell me that i sounded like a mobile thunder storm.
low end was insane
i really miss this system and i wish i could rebuild it. i still have everything
exept a box and two jl 18w6s
what was funny was i had to get a box approved to buy thes from jl
(required when buying on accomadation, say since we buy it cheaper
for show purposes it must sound good)
i designed the box at 4.5 per 18 tuned at about 29hz
jl tech support didnt want me to build it but ihad a guy there run it on the
program and i explained what i wanted to do and he approved it.
i went to ces and i met him not knowing who he was
started rapping withhim about the subs and he mentioned that some guy
from hawaii put his 18s ported(which was not recommended for the 18w6)
so i told him that was me. that was cool

i gave the car away..............
actually to my daughter, i will start finishing it in january or feb
i now work a 4 days 10 hours a day rotation so ill have alot more
time to work on it.
the rotation is cool because once every threee weeks i get 5 days consecutive off.

yes teh whole box fit in the trunk, people still ask how i got it in there.

if someone needs to know how to do it let me know, im thinking of

bringing the car out of retirement and building a 13 cubic ft box for

two subs and a 300 to 500 square opening port.

maybe in the future

it was fun but i built it in the car and it had a center divider.

and yes it was low and loud.
