My 2004 Mazda3
My 2004 Mazda3
Hey Guys,
Thought I would post up some pics. This is my 2004 Mazda 3. Its got a ton of mods, and is lots of fun to drive The stereo is weak right now, and I am planning the next one right now.
Since those pics, I put on a CF Hood (Sides painted Body Colour), CF Badgless Grille, and a CF Roof Overlay (Real CF, NOT stickers lol )
Thanks!
John

You may have subs in your car........but my doors sound better!
Thanks guys!
The power gets to the ground very well. 1st gear will spin like mad if you let it, but I have gotten the launches down well. A good set of tires will keep 2nd gear in check. Torque steer is there, but its not crazy, but keeps you on your toes
I was sooooo undecided about the kit when I did it, but I am glad with how it turned out. Now for the other two aftermarket motor mounts... I think they have finally been released

I've started running poly motor mounts as well... they reduce drivetrain slop like mad! But they do cause lots of extra vibration, which makes certain little squeaks pop up. For example, my radior fans started squeaking, so I had to put rubber spacers between them and the rad.Slippin3 wrote:Now for the other two aftermarket motor mounts... Still definitely worth it considering how much faster the power comes on and off. Very responsive.
Ditto on my Saab. Stupid fluid filled pussy mountsSlippin3 wrote:The Mazda3 has a failure-prone Passanger side Fluid Filled mount. With the stiffer rear mount, I think that is causing my crappy OEM to wear quicker still
Bring on the vibration I say! It's part of the fun of owning a high horsepower car
The drivers side rubber mount is even worse actually... I tore mine down to about .5" of rubber holding it together
