when you say bass boost you are talking just about hu controls and not the amp controls right? gain is on amp, boost is on hu right?

little update. It seems to be working ok now that I turned the sensitivity upto 3/4th of the way, and bass about 1/3. I can hear it now, though it isn't shake window loud. That is fine though. I have some spare cheap radio shack speakers, so that wouldnt be a problem. Should I just connect it straight to the amp, and slowly increase the gain?

Yes I am. I opened the enclosure to see if maybe the coils were burnt, but they weren't.

I had this setup for a while, I was just using a different amp with it. That amp blew, I think it was clipping without me knowing it. Anyway, everything worked fine before adding this new amp.

It's in a sealed enclosure.

When I mean it isn't loud, I mean that if I touch the sub when music is on, I can feel it move, but very little. The bass from the rear speakers are far louder.

subsonic at 16.9 lowpass us at 100. I've tried raising the bass a bit, but it doesn't seem to effect much. Raised it to 6/18 and sensitivity upto about 8 clicks.

I rechecked the wiring, and it all seems ok. Hope it's not the subwoofer.
