As long as u don´t use both sides on 2 Ohms bridged u should be fine without fans too, but it is always a good idea to install cooling fans to keep the amp´s temperature down! 4-40 is the size fellas :) I believe the factory ones are actually steel thats plated. I have a few MSs with rusted bottom screws. Stainless would be a nice upgrade tho ;) You're right; they tend to rust...... My MS2250 has goldplated ones; only MS amp I ever owned having them like that. BTW; :sire...

Almost all of the screws PG used on their cases are #4-40. Most of the screws in their thinner sheet metal, like the ZX/Ti amps, BC, Xovers, ect... are #4-40, undercut countersunk screws. Undercuts will work in all the places that the normal countersunk screws are, but they have the added benefit o...

They are stainless screws... and i think the 4-40's will work.. but might be a shade too small... I know for a fact that the black basscube cover screws are 4-40, and I just set one next to a plexi screw and it looks a little smaller (the BC screw) IOW It looks like that the plexi screw is a shade ...
