I contacted a company through a google search & the tech told me he would have to take an 8" surround, cut out a part of it, & "weld" it back together, without being sure it would work or how long it would last. He wanted $50 dollars U.S. per speaker. I thought that was a litt...

Honestly, finding the right size surround seems to be my biggest headache.

With the other, I always kinda favored the old 35 series amps from Alpine. i.e. 3553, 3527, 3522
