Re: RIP Cecil
Sad news for us all. I sent qty 5 RF bass boost controls to Cecil and he modified them to meet PG specs. Then he hand delivered them to my wife's hotel as she was in San Jose on business at the time. No charge. I know he was ill at that time (7 years ago?) but would not elaborate on his condition. W...

Re: Picked this one up for weekends.....
Thanks guys. I was lucky to find it. Garaged it's whole life and it shows. Paint is flawless. It's wild. I haven't even opened the bottle. As it is, it's too much for my current skill level. I am booked to take a weekend of performance lessons at our area track so I can use what this car is offering...

Excellent work and focus. Results show it. Keep it up, eh. Here's a few pictures of a guy in our Thunderbird Super Coupe Club who built up this Super Coupe engine and dropped it into the same style Mustang you are making here. This is a 3.8 litre Super Coupe engine opened up to 4.2 litres and a pile...

Re: System into a 24 volt vehicle??
Do it right using the following or similiar quality DC-DC converter....
http://www.powerstream.com/dc1.htm
These also isolate (protect) your audio from the 24V vehicle electrical system.

Re: S & S Electronics
Unless it's a very rare piece, it's not worth repairing these days. A quality bench tech is worth about $75/hr. It would cost an hour just to figure out the failure - if he can get his hands on the schematics. Add another 1 or 2 hrs if he can't get them. Another hour to source repair parts. And 2 mo...

Re: Sealed Mid Bass??/
I can seal the entire rear of the speaker (BA 6.5LF mid woof) with a stainless steel bowl.
So you're saying I need to calculate the volume of the enclosure to match the speaker specifications?
I'll research and throw up some pictures of my intentinos.
Thanks for your time out there.

This 6 post asshole took me out for $230.00 CAD. I send him a cherry mint DD5, I even packed it in a smaller box as he wished to reduce postage from Canada to Britain. We closed via PayPal. I shipped it without insurance or priority as he requested to keep costs down. I even sent him a PayPal refund...

You can't make fuss when they say it.
If you fuss, they read it as attention and will do it again.
Don't laugh or make a face either! You have to turn away and laugh snot through your nose.
