Re: What is this besides awsome?! Come on in and check it ou
Are those the TBAT that were listed on DIYMA? I was going to purchase them for the low listed price but the seller never PMed me...glad I didn't. Like I stated those would be perfect for a fugly M44 or TBAT. Other than that they are beautiful display items that would go nicely mounted on a wall. I ...

Re: Where have all the nice head units gone?
CDA-117 is the last good single DIN Alpine. If the deal falls though for the NIB Pionner P9 combo the CDA-117 is my fall back. I have ran nothing but Alpine for quite awhile everything from the 7990 to the 9855 (I just sold) for now I am running a CDA-9830 till I figure out the HU I will compete wit...

I love these amplifiers I had every model of the ST series I still have one left, I got a 16-MC2004 4 channel that has 3 blown PS fets if you want to tinker and fix it /wink wink.
I ran the 16-ST3004 and 16-ST1000d in my set up for a couple of years.

First Run MS-2125?
I got another one of these and this one has the MS-275 style terminal set up. The board is green with gold traces and the powersupply caps are not the normal ones I see in these MS and MPS series amplifiers. Anyone have an idea when this run was released? http://i1118.photobucket.com/albums/k613/Shi...

Re: CHANGE your CAPS!!!!!!!! RIP ZPA inside...
Ok here is my question if the caps did infact fail, why was the shotty repair work spot melted and charred? Just by looking at that crappy repair job that something came loose or un soldiered under the board over time and shorted the amp out. Was this area already melted and had electrode soot on it...

Re: A newbie (2phoenixphorums) w/ a bad clone....
Snail you asked me about the price on my Clone.
I am asking 350.00 + ship ConUS.
From the sounds of yours you are going to have to rebuild the sucker, unfortunatly a new magnet structure is pretty impossible to find. I would try getting new bearings for it.

Re: A newbie (2phoenixphorums) w/ a bad clone....
There should be ZERO grind or rub and yes the vein should return to top dead center. These units require a cleaning even if not in use I would bet it would be safe to say once every 2 years if used normal, maybe once a year if you beat on it and run it hard. The buzz noise is normal I too was doing ...

Re: A newbie (2phoenixphorums) w/ a bad clone....
I have owned 2 and I still have one left I am selling. That buzzing noise is what they do, They are not ment for full range or anything over 50hz with a minimal 18db recommended 24db slope. Both of mine make that sound and one was new out of box even after it was cleaned by a guy who has been rebuil...

Re: Do I need a Line driver? Can I use 1 coil on a dual coil
I been running a DVC Sub off one coil on my bench for quite awhile, and I have put some serious power on it and it still goes like it was new. Of course it is an over built original WMD. Not sure what happend to the other coil I got it like this but I can see the VC and it looks new, I think a tinse...

Re: roadster or rsd question
With Impedance rise you will be closer to 4 ohm, it is safe to say that this will easly to over 400+ at 4ohm with a 3 ohm load and a possible rise of 3.xxx you will be getting close to 500 watts the difference between 400 and 500 is almost impossible to detect with the human ear only true way to fin...

Re: Thoughts on the Roadster 66
It is a large amplifier. I have mine sitting between the shock towers of my Neon SRT-4 and it clears by a couple of inches each side. I believe it was OldSchoolFool who said the reason they didn't use the 1200.1 board and went with the 600.1 board was because it would have been too long and would n...

Re: Thoughts on the Roadster 66
I have 2 of them and since I have one thats complete I do not need the second one. This monster is very much a PG quality as it can get for being new school. This is pretty much a RSD 300.4 and a RSD 600.1 under one large sink, These boards are slighly different then the stand alone RSD amplifiers a...
