Another small set-back...?
I just realized I need to do something about my ground cable. My power cable is 0 guage, which will be adapted into a 4 guage via dist. block shortly before my amp, but what should I do about the ground cable. Do they make a simple 0 to 4 converter so I can actually attach it to the RSd1200.1 ? Thanks

you need 1....under the hood....then another within 18 inches of your amps You fuse according to the amperage that will be drawn....what is the total rated RMS power for the system? The in-line fuse attaches literally TO the battery terminal, so it is definitly within that range. I plan on putting ...

Block fuses?
I bought a KnuKonceptz block and instead of sending me two 120amp mini-ANL fuses, I received a 120 and a 150.
I assume that this wont cause any problems and that one route will simply have a higher rated fuse than the other?

Amp wiring possibility?
If you had a mono amp that was rated at 1200@2ohm or 775@4ohm, and a sub that was only 500rms/900max with dual 4ohm voice coils, how would you wire that properly so that you are only sending 775watts to the sub? I don't want to risk throwing too much at the sub and blowing it... Also, how would this...

Hey man I have like a pretty much brand new RSD 1200.1 for sale. It has only seen power 3 times. I also have 50 feet of 2/0 wire and 29 feet of 1 gauge for sale. Here is the thread on the amp. http://phoenixphorum.com/fs-rsd-1200-1-vt9994.html Edit: If it is too much for Xenon you can just make up ...

Ok, alot to think about, but thanks for all the answers so far. Maybe I'll go with a Xenon600.1 because I saw one or two on ebay and it was much cheaper than a 1200.1. That should still be plenty for my 500/900 sub, yes? Then maybe in the future when I have more experience and learn more stuff I can...

I keep getting questions but I don't want to write them all down becuase I know no one wants to answer all of them! But I want to start this project now and everytime I get an idea I have 10 more problems. If my current sub is d4, how should I wire it correctly? I can't wire it for d2 and the sub on...

Also, I would like to give a quick run down to make sure my sub project plans will be fine. I'm buying a Phoenix Gold 0 gauge cable kit, which will hook to the RSd amp mounted on the back side of the box, then running a 12g. wire through the sealed enclosure to the sub and wiring it is parallel to a...

RSd 1200.1 amp good?
I'm thinking about laying down the 300$ and buying a new RSd 1200.1 amp, what do you think? It will be powering a Xenon sub (12d4 500rms/900max), but may upgrade in the future to a matching RSd competition sub (12d2 600rms/1200max). Making a sealed 1.52 box currently. Will this be a good match with ...
