Ok, finally got this thing installed and rocking. Any recommendations as to where the crossover should bet set at on the amp plus the subsonic filter?


And is it necessary to use bass boost or am I better just using the gain on the xenon?

I have my rsdc 4ohm dvc sub wired in parallel(pos to pos, neg to neg, than one to speaker terminals on amp) for a 2 ohm load. My question is on this amp, does it matter which positive and negative connection you use? Currently have one connection to the left postive terminal and one to the right neg...

One last question. What size mounting screws do I need for the rsdc subwoofer?

dammit, forget woofer displacement. Now I am at 15x14.5x14.5 and a total of 1.32. After displacement of the woofer(.13), I am at 1.19. Manual says 1.17 so I am in the ball park!!!

Anyways, mocked up some dimesions using 12 volts site. 15x15x13 using 3/4 mdf nets me roughly 1.22 cu. ft. Will brace the inside with fiberglass resin and matting after gluing and screwing.

What do you guys think?

Thanks. Now trying to find an optimal sealed enclosure size for a civic. Anyone have some basic sizes to start with? Also, does box shape matter when it comes to a trunk?

Had the rsdc woofer for a bit, just needed an amp. Figure I would stick with the PG amp for the sub at least so I picked up the Xenon. My question for you guys since I have the dual 4 ohm sub, should I wire it to 2 ohms or 8? I know the 4-1 ohm load makes 600 watts with increased heat by going down....

What is everyone's take on the display being hard to read in sunlight(the 993)? What about the button function on the second knob? I remember those being complaints from some on CA.com, but wanted to hear your opinions.

Currently putting a 6.5 component system(either image dynamics ctx, hertz hsks, or something else) and sub(rsdc 12 on the way :) ). Was looking at the 2 channel rsd 250.2 on amazon and the rsd 600.1 for the subwoofer. Would the 250.2 be enough to push a set of component speakers, or should I step up...
