Re: PG SPL Build
Oh, and yes the enclosure is ported on top, so it's hard to see. There is about 6" of clearance to the roof. So it actually works well. I just noticed that as well.. Down here (in Australia), to get serious numbers, competitors are sealing off the front baffle to the pillars and making sure no...

Damo95's Ti-wagon
Hey guys, I thought it'd be about time I got a ride/install thread up.. I have a 2001 Holden Commodore wagon, which has an ecotec V6 (engine after the buick).. It's rolling on 18x8" wheels and is lowered 40-50mm all round (40mm rear - Heavy duty super low springs & 50mm front - super low (k...

That was the whole idea I put to my mate ricky, and it certainly paid off...trickyricky wrote:Glad it went to good use, that looks BAD ASS. One large Tantrum surfboard amp. Am subscribed, can't wait too see more.

I shipped someone a tantrum 250.2 chassis for this very same reason, wonder if that's the same one...I shipped mine to Australia, I see your tape is in meters and the driver is on the right hand side so that's a hint. Ricky.. this is the install that you shipped the 250.2 over for.. Thanks a heap f...

I'm good mates with the local distributor (in Australia) and he only knows what was shown at ces and a price, nothing more.. no dates, no details, nothing... in regards to the zen9..
Otherwise, they seem to be on top of everything pg down south...

Re: running 4 batteries and a POWERGRID???
Honestly, I don't think you'll need 4 batteries for those amps.. multiple batteries are really only used in SPL cars to keep the amps juiced up.. I had a T1200.1/2x T600.4 in my car off a single d34yt up front and it was fine.. even with my current Ti array (Ti2500.1/2x Ti800.4), a single is fine.. ...

Trickyricky helped me find a Tantrum 250.2 for an install, gutted it as agreed and sent it off down under..
packaging was one of the best i'd seen and the amp chassis arrived unscathed..
Thanks again for helping out, will have no hesitation doing business with you again!

I ran elate 6's (63Hz hi-pass) and currently running elate 9's (50Hz hi-pass) but active 3 way front.. and 300wrms per side off a bridged Ti800.4..

Re: New Phoenix Gold Product Suggestions (Here We Dream)
I'd settle for an add on to the Elite.65's that comes with a 3" soft dome and 3 way crossover. The 6.5" woofers that come with the Elite components will surprise you on midbass frequencies. I know, I'm good mates with the boys at stinger Australia & one of them has the elite 6.5's in ...

Get laminated glass, as it's known down under.. basically, it's 2 glass sheets laminated together with a sheet of "film" between them..

Re: RMD Displays, Lo & Hi
It's been flicking from Hi to the voltage, usually at around 13.8-14.0 and after I've had the stereo cranking a bit.. Voltage at the front of the car (and my other volt meter) read 13.8 at that particular time.. It's also done it while driving but I tested it while stopped of course.. A few times, i...

RMD Displays, Lo & Hi
Hi guys. I'm a little baffled here.. my TRMD which is connected to my Tantrum 1200.1 sometimes shows up Hi. on the display. What does this, and Lo mean? I'm assuming Lo means low voltage, but is Hi for High voltage (even tho the volt meter (stinger) hooked to my TDD5 reads normal voltage)? This only...

I should hassle scott to update the install thread.. we finally have a cracked (in many places!) windscreen..
