MSRP is targeted around $2500 or so, but not set in stone yet.
Amplifier has four separate power supplies.

End of last year. They are well built amps for the money. Heavy heatsinks, plexi tops, SMT double sided PCBs, BiPolar Output Devices, etc.

Re: Reactor vs elite.5
Elite.5 at 1 ohm will make double the power of ZX500 at 4 ohms bridged.
Its also substantially more efficient.

Re: Old lpl on new elite amps?
It won't work properly, do not use old LPL with Elite amplifiers.
Elite circuit is much improved and much quieter than LPL.
So is the new RBC circuit used in all the other new amps.

Re: Stephen Mantz?
Full Range Class D amplifiers can be complex on both a circuit and layout perspective.
Stephen works with us on amplifier projects from time to time. For example:
SD800.4
SD1100.5
SX800.4
SX1200.5
Ti2 1000.4
Ti2 1600.5

The main difference is the model number only.

I never left. I answer the posts where someone needs help or has a question... I don't get too involved in posts about buying older gear, topics that have been cover many times. As most the senior guys here usually post the correct answer anyway. But if you email with specifics I would be happy to g...

Re: nothing new for pg in the last while what going on?
I read the board several times per week and answer the threads that apply. Not sure what the complaining is about. Last year, we changed the entire middle portion of the line. Slim SXt subwoofers, new full range class D SX designs, and new SX woofers. New product is always released in January. We ra...

Re: TI2 1600.5 headunit volume 0 pop
The problem is the headunit. Add a ground loop isolator and it will fix the problem. Ti2 1600.5 uses a balanced input, this means the RCA shield feeds the input of the amplifier. Some Alpine and Pioneer amplifiers send voltage spikes down the RCA shield, a balanced input amplifier will amplify this ...

Re: Old School RMD with new Ti2 amps
Old and new RMD have identical pinouts and cables.
Basically they are compatible and work fine regardless if you have an old/new amp or RMD.
Just plug it in in any scenario and it will work.

Re: PG's "The One" need new fan..
The fan is 60mm x 60mm x 10mm with 12v 200ma.
Something similar to this will work fine. Different fans have different air flow volumes.
However, this fan is just insurance to get some air moving around the output filters, it doesn't need to be really high air flow.

I will send you the info how to check/mod it to V2.
If you are going to do some work on that amp you might as well do it all.

Re: CES 2014 News
Guys this is 2014, not 1994, CES is extremely expensive to attend. The days of massive booths at CES for car audio (amps/speakers) companies are over. In fact, most of the other large names in Car Audio do not exhibit on the show floor. The PG displays and setup of the booth is targeted toward makin...

Re: Elite.1 Strapping Question
Strapping two amps is basically bridging them. Double the current draw, double the power since you now have two amps. The only real benefits (as Vlad points out). 1. Your gains are now matched since usually strapping allows one amplifier's pre-amp to the be the master. Also, the master's crossover n...
