were would i solder it to? would i solder it back on the black part or just to the metal part on the center of the cone

that picture does not jutice i cant circle for poo... well its broken right at the beginning like were its next to the middle of the sub. theres dual voice coils and the tensil is broken right next to the middle of the cone im not sure what you mean by the middle

hey today i was listening to my music and my bass cut out and i check my sub and it is stuck? it wont push in or out?.. it still makes sound but no excursion? any reason why this would happne i been running this sub jl w6 for 6 years and it never had a problem

well if theres clipping i cant hear it clipping at all. i guess i dontknow what clipping is.. i just hear bass.. the diamond sounded perfect and it just stopped out of no where and the jl w6 is pushing fine just burned a little so i stopped and disconnected it. checked the diamond with a volt meter ...

oh because i was running the JL and just swaped it over.. its burning the voice coils

hey guys again im here with another problem witht hsi JL 1000/1 im burning voice coils. first i burned the D9 diamond and i thought maybe it was the sub? then i switched over to a JL w6 and its burning voicecoil to. i can see smoke coming out the port.. whats wrong now! help me!!!

can i use any 4gauge like im using on my amp or do i have to get a certain kind.. sorry new at thiss

okay so i think i found all my grounds i need to change out and from the looks of them i think there 10awg. it looks way smaller then my 8 gauge. so should i move up to 8 gauge or 4 ? i would like to start tomorrow since i came home late today

okay so upgrading the ground in my engine bay today wish me luck i cant find the ground to the engine to chassis

im actually using a 4 gauge wire tryed the sub with a different amp. i have not tryed the amp with a different sub willing to try thatt let me see if i have timee today and ill get to that thanks guys doe all the answwers and suggestions

no low impedence light or anything just low v i checked my wires and did a pull and check on yhe wires no buildup cleaned out terminals and even changed out the farad cap for just a splitter it doesnt occur often i drove from seattle to portland and its doing okay but i want to push it to atleast 75...

its on it would go steady for a good 5 or 10 minutes then switch over to low V then switch back and do the same thing. it happens more often when i turn it up and right now it is at the settings of the JL website and the bass is turned down to 4+ out of the 16+ i can go to and it isstill happening
