Shallow Subs?
Has anyone heard anything about the MX series? I was thinking of getting rid of my rsdc's for a set of shallow subs. Looking to install them behind both rear quarter panels. I'd really like to stay with PG, but not sure how the MX series holds up to their competitors (i.e. TW3's).

Found this one...seems similar in style, just different software. Hesitant about purchasing though...

Anyone ever seen these before or heard of them? Looks like something I'd be interested in doing, but not sure if they are reputable or not.

Re: RSdc 10's or 12's
I could probably fit the 12’s in the rear side panels, but I would either have to cut the panels to fit them or buy new ones to modify. I think the 10’s could squeeze in the wheel well with the amp.

Re: RSdc 10's or 12's
It’s going in a ‘16 Ford Edge. Space is limited unless I do custom panels on the sides (wanting a stealthy install) which is what made me think of dropping to the tens. I’ve always been a fan of pairs rather then singles. Not too worried about the output, I know either choice should be adequate for ...

Re: RSdc 10's or 12's
Space is limited unfortunately which is part of the reason of was thinking of downsizing. The box will be sealed and if I remember correctly, there is a big difference in box size from the 10 to 12. Not crazy about the idea of using 1 twelve, but if the two 10’s don’t perform as nicely, then maybe I...

RSdc 10's or 12's
I currently have a pair of new RSdc 124's but was debating looking for a set of the 10's as they have a much smaller enclosure size. Do you think there's a big difference in dropping down from the 12 to the 10? Looking at the specs, the wattage is the same and the frequency isn't much different.

Not a fan of the gold but that’s just my personal preference. The blue might not be bad if it matched the LED’s. I kind of like the white.

Any idea how the Ti65cs perform? Will be using the door space as the box.

Component Sets
Looking to get some input on component sets. I will be using two sets total, one set up front and one set in the back (in an SUV). I was lookin at the Ti65cs set. I currently have one set of the old titanium elite 6.5's. Not sure how well the sound would match having two different sets and think hav...

Any one have a preference on PG line drivers. Not sure if they are all "created equal" or if one is better then another.

Re: Line Output Converter
I've added one of these to my shopping list. Definitely going to mess around with it. Even if I can't get the ACM to work like the others, this will still come in handy. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01F0GVBWY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1489536079&sr=8-1&refinements=p_72%3A2661618011&a...

Re: Line Output Converter
Thank you for the links.
I skimmed through two of them. Not 100% sure if it will work in mine. Will need to do a little more reading. Mine is the basic head unit without out the amp (non Sony package). I do like the thought of having the clean signal at 4v using the factory h/u.

Re: Line Output Converter
Starting to rethink this. There's really not much that my factory head unit has that a new head unit wouldn't have. The only thing I really use is the hands free calling and my backup camera. I know a new one would have the hands free. Would just need to figure out the camera and steering wheel cont...

Re: Line Output Converter
There's nothing premium about my current audio package. With that out of the way, I'm not opposed to using the correct gear for the job, just trying to reduce the overall foot print I need. I have a TLD or Tbat I can use along with the eq232. I was just thinking by using the line out converter with ...

Re: Line Output Converter
Couldn't find much on a new eq. Guess I've waited this long, what's a little more. As far as soldering rca's, it's a good idea. Never would have thought of that.

Re: Line Output Converter
Definitely not wanting to spend the money on a Elite.5 only to be held up by a crappy signal to start. I started looking at a few and noticed some had EQ's in them. Not sure if they are decent or not, but like the thought of having the EQ on one. I currently have an EQ232, but was wanting to downsiz...

Has anyone had any experience with these? Been trying to plan out my system for a few months now, but haven't had much luck with the after market selection for my suv. I think my only option without completely redoing the entire front console is to keep the factory head unit and try and use a line o...

Re: The time is near
Would definitely like to keep the quality, just would like to reduce the amount of gear. Lessen the low end a little and upgrade the mid/high end. If I did go with the elite.5, would that be enough to run the two RSDc's and possibly two sets of Ti 6.5's? As far as the upgrades to the elite, are they...

Hello all Phorum members, it's been quite a while since I've been able to log or post anything. Life can be a little distracting at times. Finally after who knows how long, I've made the decision to put my truck to rest. Hopefully it will carry on into someone's hands along with a little TLC. With t...

Re: Car audio withdrawal's
The stuff will eventually go into a vehicle at some point, but its already been many years and im sure it will be many more. I'd only want to upgrade if it was worth the upgrade. I like the thought of having new gear, but I also know the capabilities of the ZPA's. The Rsdc's Im keeping for sure. The...

I've been thinking about my stash sitting in the garage collecting who know's what. I can only hope there isn't some condo being built by some odd creature lurking around while im not paying attention. Since I'm clearly not going to be able to install any of my gear into my truck, I had the thought ...
