While I haven't used it yet, since it's still very new to the market only being released a couple weeks ago. I would look at the Audison Bit One. It's much more than just an OEM interface, in fact that's just a small part of what it's capable of. 1/3 octave EQs Multiple crossovers and configurations...

If that's true, that would just be another reason I won't use FleaBay to sell my wares.

The sad part is that this $15 Billion dollars will only sustain GM and Chrysler until March, that's March of 2009, about 3 friggen months! What's going to happen then? Nothing, they will shut the doors and we will be worse off than we are now. The "bailout" money should go right past all t...

I haven't seen a better receiver than what Yamaha can offer for the money.

At this point I wouldn't use anything else.

I almost always leave the original wiring. The only time I will swap it out is when I can easily remove the main starter feed (not really part of the big 3 but a good idea), or the ground to the engine would get in the way and easily removable I will sometimes remove it. Most of the time though i ju...

I have an LG that I bought from a discount computer place locally. I don't use it a whole lot, but enough. I used to make plenty of CDs and DVDs with my music on them, but ever since I got my Ipod, I don't need to anymore. Anyway, I paid $40 or $50 for it a few years ago, I've had it installed...

hmmm...yeah one of those "sounds good in theory" ideas way to busy Yeah, the only way to really pull off something like that would be by using paint as a medium, and "ghosting" in the PG, inside the circles. I guess a way to do it in metal would be to use two different kinds of ...

Why complicate things? Go with your original idea of a passive crossover. You just may need to play with the actual cut off frequencies. You'll also want to use two different frequensies, to attempt to get a smooth transition between mid and tweeter. Usually the 6 db down point of each crossover fre...

I've never had a problem with just straight copper wire, I prefer that, since there is no additional resistance from a connector or solder, and gain the largest contact area possible, with the way the grub screw pushes the wire out and against the inside of the terminal block. How often do you need ...

The way I read this thread is that the alarm is indeed functioning, just at times doesn't respond to the remote, and without further info, may not respond to the valet switch, though until it's verified I would say that he just hasn't put in the proper code for the valet/disarm.

Uhhh, how do you test an alarm with the Bitwriter? I own one and have for a few years, and have never seen a "test" function in the BitWriter programming. The Bitwriter is used to program the DEI Security and convienece systems, instead of counting siren chirps and using the valet switch. ...
