TI 500.4 and 2 TI 600.2 are all the same size and should power 7 channels nicely. For a custom install, powdercoating them wrinkle black would look awesome... I think you still have +/- 15 volts DC going through the preamp. An opamp can get pretty hot if shorted. The voltage divider resistors on these amps can discolor the board and may get hot enough to burn your skin.
