I had three xs power d3100 batteries and a yellow top under the hood with a single 300 amp alt. as long as the batteries were charged it would stay in the upper 10v low 11v range at full tilt.

From what I understand for USACi if you want to hold the State or World record then you must meter from the dash and car sealed up. If you are just going for points then you can have door open and mic in kick.
