Thank you for your time Tricky! I haven't been into the amp for months now but I believe I did have to replace caps, gate resistors, ps fets and a couple diodes. There was also some board damage from a blown cap. I should have specified in initial post but I forgot what I actually did to this amp. B...

Anybody have info/experience with this sub? I picked one up for dirt cheap and it looks like new, foam is perfect just some lights scratches on cone. Anyways, all I can find is rms rating of 250w. Looking for enclosure info or ts parameters and wondering how much power it can take. Any info is appre...

Re: Think I have a phase issue...
Ok I set hp to 120 from h/u, and lpf on the xenon slowly down to 50ish. The hpf setting helped a bit but lowering the lpf I lost some kick that I like. So lpf back to 70 and I am now using the zx hpf at 100hz as thats where it sounds best to me. But... I still feel like my subs sound much better whe...

Re: Think I have a phase issue...
I switched the hpf on the h/u to 120hz but haven't done the amps yet as I have to remove the box to get to them. That will be this wknd. It definitely helped tho. Sounds better already.

Re: Think I have a phase issue...
I dont have rear speaker. When I fade to the rear, essentially turning the front comps all the way down, the subs just sound so clean and smooth. I lose some of that when the fronts are up to volume with the subs. Could it just be because its in a truck cab? I dont think the comps are out of phase w...

Think I have a phase issue...
I've tried switching polarity of each side at the amp (components up front) and on sub, but no change. When I fade out the front my subs sound so much better. Do I need to do the switch at the crossover? Eg just a woofer/tweeter? 6" comps up front, two 12" subs in ext cab pickup. If more i...

Re: Dc offset... Help needed
Is the dc offset going to damage speakers? Or the amp itself? In other words, what are possible symptoms? Should I be re-setting bias?

Re: Dc offset... Help needed
The diodes I put in are indeed the 1N5401, resistors are 33 ohm and the fets are NDP7060. I have checked the output transistors via the method on bcae1.com and they are good. The amp powers up fine and plays music on both channels, fwiw.

Re: Dc offset... Help needed
New power supply fet's, not output transistors... My mistake. I will dig my receipts out to find part #'s. There were blown gate resistors, blown diodes and a blown cap when I bought it and I was advised to do fet's as well as caps diodes and resistors. I dont know how to set bias so no havent done ...

Amp fires up no prob plays great BUT, I checked dc offset, meter set to 200m and I'm getting +2.7mV on left ch and -97.7mV on the right ch. Looks too high on right ch but I...

Re: Question about winisd
Thanks!!! Reason for asking is I have one 3" port but obviously it sounds like shit (box is in cab of truck) so was gonna add another 3" but at those lengths I think I'll try 4". Thanks again!!
