I guess it really boils down to the type of music you listen to. Might give that RSD a try soon. If nothing else, my wifes car needs something to go along with her Exile comps.

PG needs to get a high end line out first way before messing with anything else. Get the word out and the Phoenix will be reborn!!

Another example of some of the best being overlooked because a company puts more $ into marketing hype than product. I miss the days when you bought an amp, you knew what you were getting. I used to view RF as brute power and PG as refined power. I've even noticed the 'quality' of the average instal...

Just say no to JL. Too much freakin marketing hype for my tastes. As opposed to PG with zero market presence? PG went cheap and in the end, its killing them.People will seek out and pay for quality; as in Zed Audio, Rolls-Royce, etc. Well known names in their respective fields with little to no adv...

How about this setup: Tantrum 300.2 bridged to each side of my Ti Elites and a 500.2 powering a single 10. Might be my current ED 10O.44 flat cone or 'insert new sub here'. That should make for more than enough headroom. :D :P

I had a Punch HX2 10 and many people mistook it for a 12 in terms of output.

Ah! The ol BBQ style RF. Some of my favs! Wish I could find a Power 250X2 and a 500m in decent shape; I used both back in the day. So overall, would you say the Tantrums are better built? I like the idea of the pure raw power equal to the old school RFs.

12 looks and no opinions?? Any way here is a link to the guts of the 500.2 and the GT-22. Just basing the comparo on the total rated power, but the 500.2 is at 4 ohms and the Boton at 2ohms; plus that the closest ones ampguts has. Tantrums or stick with my Bostons?

Whats everyones take on the Tantrum line? I'm thinking about a pair of 500.2s or a 500.2 on my Elite6s and a 300.2 bridged to a Xmax 10. The Bostons I have are a GT-40 ( bridged to the elites @ 190x2) and a GT-22 bridged (500watts x1) to my ED 10O.44 flat cone 10. i think a Xmax 10 should be able to...

Elite tweets with RSD mids

I know someone out there has tried this setup. How was it? Did you use the Elite XO or the RSD XO? Seems like the Elite tweet would blend well since the RSD tweet is based from it.

Stick with Elites or go with some Seas??

The more I think about it the more I dont know what to stick with; the Elites or change to some Seas. The Elites are getting a solid 190watts per side. If I went with Seas, it would be 55w per component @ 4 ohms. I was looking at the CA18RNX or Peerless Exclusives 7" and for a tweet the Seas 27...

Just seems a 1cuft enclosure for a 6 is a tad on the large side. My 10 is only in a .65 enclosure.
