I really like your idea of just putting 2 in and using a headlight in line. Think I will take your advice on both of those.

Hey I know this is an old post but I am about to be moving and want to finish this project before I pack up. but am needing help deciding what mosfets to buy.
There are a ton on eBay and not sure what the specs need to be.

update i was able to get 2 new resistors in town, but still can't find the Metal film capacitors. well i went to go change the resistors out in the meantime, and once i took the old ones off, i cleaned the board under them, and is is melted, bubbling up, and has a few pieces missing. so i am not eve...

the white box outline on the board that goes around both the resistors says R307

the white box that goes around the one output filter that burned up says C100

and the box that goes around the other output filter says C101

the 2 small ones right in the middle of everything, if you look at the picture with the read circles. they are to the left of the 2 red Metal film capacitors.
