need advice
Previously had 2 12 RSDs sealed with RSD1200.1. LOVED the sound. I've since changed cars to a hardtop convertible SLK55 and found I couldn't fit 2 12s. I'm planning: 1. PLANET AUDIO RXD2400 or HIFONICS XXVCOLOSSUS 3200 WATT 2. RE Audio XXX 12" I'm not looking for advice on SPL or SQL. Just your...

HIFONICS XXVCOLOSSUS 3200 WATT for 2 RSDC124
These seem adequate for 2 RSDC124's in sealed enclosures built to spec? Or would an rsd1200.1 be adequate? I've currently got a rsd12 sealed to spec with a rsd1200.1. the amps drive the sub to max excursion easily, but I've read that the rsdc is another beast altogether and i'll need more juice. I''...

SLD44 help
Based on a few recommendations from fellow forum members, I purchased this line driver from ebay from thecablesupply. I finally got around to installing it, but can't get it to power on. I've checked the power and ground wires with a volt meter and it reads 13.7v with the engine running. The remote ...

R15.0.1
I know it's not recommended, but I've been running 2 rsd12d's at 1 ohm. I'm curious as to how much rms power this amp is pushing at 1 ohm? I've emailed PG techs but they wouldn't give me a definite answer.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hmm I just swamped out the x400.1 for the r15.0.1 and output is actually LESS, much less, even with gain at max. I guess a line driver is a must. I called 3 bestbuys and 2 circuitcity's cause I didn't want to order online and wait, unfortunately none of their install guys have ever heard of a line d...

Thanks for the welcome. I'm a noobie with this audio stuff and decided to do my own install after reading a couple DIY articles... I've recently installed an x400.1 with an rsd12d in a sealed box. The car came with touchscreen NAV with the HU built into it so I didn't want to take it apart. Instead,...
