hi guys i have a ltd edition octane amp, big carbon look one. and the high pass left channel has gone very quiet. does this mean my amp has blown a channel? i have tried swapping the rca leads over and its still the left speaker thats quiet. i also tried a different speaker on the high pass left cha...

but the amp i just bought off you has a couple of fried resistors but works fine!!!but i dont need that bit i just need the main board to fix my LTD octane, hope you get your amp working

one of my caps in the LTD octane amp is leaking but its one of the capacitors on the capacitor bank in the middle not one on the amps. is it worth replacing? does anyone know where i can get them from? value are: 35v 1500uf part no.6126(m) +105degreesC http://i278.photobucket.com/albums/kk94/jinglis...

cant really test it now as i decided to take everything apart and attack it will my solder iron.

stupid thing is i tested the ti400.2 today and it worked fine but when i took it apart its got a line of dead resistors, and the octane looks fine but doesnt want to work?

*Updated* ok following on from my other thread i have my octane back now the high pass side has dropped the left channel the right channel works and the high pass side works bridged? the crossover still works, some1 said something about it being a common problem for anyone who does not know the octa...

the shop is AAS electronics who had the distribution rights for phoenix gold in the uk before BBG.

well the amp is still at the place that was trying to fix it but when i get it back i will have a play but it only seems that one of the channels is down wouldnt the x over affected both channels?

also has anyone got the workshop mannuals for the ti400.2 amp as this might help fix the problem

a channel has blown on my limited edition phoenix gold octane amp the channel is on the high pass section of the amp and is the left channel i currently have the amp in the UK and noone can fix the problem and due to the nature of the amp i will be willing to ship it to the USA to have it fixed pric...

im in the uk and there doesnt seem to be anyone who knows what to do with it. and it broke by me sending it away to make sure it was ok and it came back with a channel down, which is very annoying
