Re: Whats the value of quicksilver speaker cable

It's wire.

Don't expect anything more than market value for comparable wire unless you find some PG fanatic that will pay more.

I've held onto my older PG connection accessories but just for nostaglia and not to turn a profit.

Re: im pulling whats left of my hair out

If you step up to a three way set up front you'll have more power to your mids/tweets.

Adding a set of 8" midbass drivers up front will bring you smiles if dome right and with enough power to your mid/tweeter array you should have plenty of headroom if the power is there.

Re: pas mag review got me to buy these and they rock

They look like they are built well. The 82db sensitivity makes them a hard purchase for me without hearing them in person first. Thats what I thought but they get crazy loud and clean with only 250watts. I read some item say they go down to 25hz other say 35. I put a bass cd hitting 25 30 35 hz and...

WOW! Truely impressive.....and a relief I'm seeing some vinyl wrapping and not all painted fiberglass.

Reminds me of those crazy demo vehicles Chris Brown did for Alpine 10 - 11 years ago.

OVER THE TOP is putting it mildly.

Please don't tell me this is your daily driver. :P

Re: Red this on the JL audio facebook page lately........

cool. I figure ohm out a cable so that we can see that it is complete and makes a complete connection on both ends. Slap one end on the terminal, the other end to ground and like ya said with in 30 secs nothing should happen. I'm not Mr. Electrical engineer or anything....but if you connect the POS...

still waiting for someone to post a vid shorting that cable out to prove that. Glassman do you have a video cam? I think everyone owns a video camera with them being standard issue on cell phones for the last few years. :D I would be more than willing to do the demo but unfortunately this time of y...

Funny.

Fusing alt to batt is overboard and errs too much on the side of caution.

But that thread is a very useful pool of info.

Re: Elite.4 Review

This beast looks VERY impressive....good to see PG back in the game with some serious high end parts and solid construction....something that remind me of the no-compromise approach taken by the European manufactuers. I'd love to see an unbiased head to head of this Elite4 with the Soundstream REF4....

Re: Elite 12d vs. 12w6v2s

Its simple really, a single 12 will displace half the air of a pair of 12's. Your two 12's already have enough surface area to produce great output. Unless the PG sub can displace more air by itself than your pair of W6's, the W6's will be louder. Short story, two 12's will be louder than one 12, I...

Drive to your local dealer....make a day out of it.

At least once the day is over you can say...."I smelled....touched.....tasted and heard the new PG amps!!!". :)

Re: Elite Sneak Peek

These amps got me very excited until I saw the power ratings for the 2ch. I was thinking of replacing my Soundstream HRU.4 and HRU.2 with the Elite series. The HRU.2 is 500x2 @ 4ohms and is in the same chassis as the HRU.4. Why couldnt the Elite.2 also have similar output? Did you see the claimed o...

You know why I'm not dissapointed in the least bit by the Ti1500.1? The ONLY thing I assumed is that it put out less power than the 2500.1 I don't expect power output by model #'s anymore....and neither should anyone else....if they want to name the sub amps 50.1, 100.1, and 250.1 so be it as long a...
