I'm no ported expert by any stretch...but from what i have seen and read, the box you initially designed sounds perfect as it would build on what the subs are already good at. maybe Marc (brenzbmr) can chime in to either confirm this, or confirm CRX's advice on a higher tuning frequencies anyonnne?...

the car is an expedition and the subs are gonna be powered by a rsd 1200.1 at 2 ohms. please throw in ur advice, im new to ported boxes so any suggestions are gladly welcomed.

i've been playin around with WinISD lately and ive decided to build a new box, gonna try a ported box this time. ive ended up with a 3.5cuft box tuned to 32hz. does these sound like okay numbers for a rsd12?

okay, i have found the audio wires but when i wire it up to the jack there is lots of static and the song from the ipod is very very quite. then when i touch it back to the cd changer out it is loud and crystal clear..any suggestions???:/

so im trying out WinISD for the first time and it seems like i dont have enough information to plug in all the parameters for the RSD12...if anyone could help me out that would be great, i tried the search but no luck

okay so heres the problem, ive had my rsd1200.1 running for about 2 months and it was flawless. recently ive noticed on the rmd that my voltage is always low...ive changed nothign and am getting constant 12.3-12.6v readings compared to 13.9-14.1v i used to get when i first installed it. anyone else ...

got my boxes built to 1.8cf per rsd12 and im now ready to cut the opening for the subs...what should i use for the template of the circle?? i took off the gasket and layed that down on the box but the screw holes seem wayyy to close to the cut. doesnt seem to be enough "meat" for the screw...

yes, definately gonna upgrade the door speakers. just cant decide yet if i wanna get the 250.2 and components for the fronts and leave the rear stock running off the hu or if i wanna get the 500.4 with components all around. decisions, decisions.

trust me, ive definately thought about it. but if i ran 4 12's then i would have to get another 1200.1 and an another sub. theres $400 right there. trying to keep the whole system under a grand the best i can, that would blow me out of my budget way to easily
