Have to agree here, the cd sounds so much better than an i-tunes track, its a bug bear of mine. I would rather pay more for quality. Just on a side note I used to notice the difference between cd's too, some sounded better, anyone else used to notice this?

That is what I said straight away, great amps but it needs to have that wow factor, that had use drooling over the counter at our local installers in the 90s. Its the Elite line that needs to make a reputation, and in my opinion its falling short, but lets not all forget how great it is to have them...

try switching the amp channels from left to right to see if the drop in level switches sides to work out if its amp or speaker/cable related
