But now when I'm reading trough the manual, I can't see anything about that. Does someone know if that is possible and what is the best option to do th...

So I can't connect it to 2 M100 amps?

Re: setup advice
I have a 8 inch Digital Design 500 watt rms, now it is just connected to one M100. But to get a more controlled subwoofer it's better to have it overpowerred.
What do you mean with SVC and DVC??

Re: setup advice
Is it possible to connect 2 Phoenix gold M100 amp together for one subwoofer?
So one M100 delivers 455 watt rms at 4ohm.
Then connect 2 M100 together then you get 910 watt rms?? is that correct and is it possible.?

the Epicenter does work.
I haven't got the system changed yet, as to your last post.

Re: setup advice
mmm ok should change that and uhm...should I use the Subwoofer lead from the headunit ?
and how should i use the O-scope then?
and will the Esp2 work? because it should drive the speakers and not the subwoofer.
And why is het better to connect the amps like this way?

I oscoped it as follows: First see when the deck is clipping, set the subwoofer level on the deck at max. then my deck is clipping at 31 out of 35. But my speakers...

Re: setup advice
ok will do.
If that is the case, which headunit will you advise ?
( I saw a pioneer p90rs and a real nice Mcintosh headunit.
And I'm also planning of buying a PG ms2250 team edition ( fan cooled ) for the subwoofer.
and then use the M100 for the speakers..
Good choice?

Eric D wrote:Something is wrong with your configuration. That head unit does not clip.
Check treble control, bass control, loudness, or any other possible feature you may have on. If you have the DSP enabled, it will clip exactly as you mention, so maybe that is still on.
DSP is off and internal Amp is off.

Re: setup advice
Got my Headunit oscoped and it's clipping at volume 25 out of 35, with signal 1000hz at 0db record. Then I got my amps oscoped and set all gains propperly. For the subwoofer I used a 40Hz signal at 0db For the speaker composet I used 1000Hz at 0db Specs of the composet: Subwoofer : ?? don't know exa...

Re: setup advice
Eric, I switched off my preamp of the headunit. Do I have to switch it back on? I do have an oscilloscope myself, But i some way it only works for midrange and tweeters. For the subwoofer I just can turn my gain up and see nothing clipping. (weird right?) So I think I do something wrong for my subwo...

Re: setup advice
so if I use the M50's for the kick speakers bridged. How do I connect my tweeters then?
Or if you mean it like this:
1 M50 4ohm, connect 2 morel speakers of 4 ohm bridged (got 2 ohm)
