Re: XS2500

I have a spare parts XS2500 if you need any hard to source parts. Some stuff is missing (transistors), but there's still a fair amount of components available. Might have to take you up on this as I think I've another XS amp with a broken switch. Need to look through that I've got and I'll let you ...

Re: XS2500

Always been a bit sceptical buying components from ebay but if you've recommended them I'll give them a go.

Thanks for the help.

XS2500

Hi Guys, I've a XS2500 that I'm repairing as the output stage on both channels was shorted. I know that the best way to repair these is to replace the whole output stage but I'm having problems sourcing the 2SC2389 in the differential input stage. Does anyone know of a good sub for this transistor? ...

Re: Finally bought a smartphone

If you want a case I'd certainly look at something that has D3O in it. Might be a little more expensive than your standard case but when your phone is hundreds of dollars it's worth paying for.

Re: ZPA0.3

Thanks guys. I'm aware of the issues with the caps so it's not going to be powered up until they have been replaced. The amp has been worked on before as the phono connector isn't soldered in straight so that will need fixing. Hopefully that's all I find wrong. Also need to do something about the pl...

ZPA0.3

Hi Guys I've just picked up a ZPA 0.3 from eBay here in the U.K. It's not in perfect condition and the plexi is missing but it's nothing serious. Whilst having a poke around I found a micro switch located under one of the plexi screws which looks to have been added later. Is this right? http://uploa...

Hey Jason

I thought mine was in bad condition until I saw yours. Awesome work in attempting to get the amp up and running again.

Re: trickyricky

Brought a couple of bits for my M50 from Trickyricky and couldn't be happier. Items arrived over here in the UK in good time and more importantly well packed.

Thanks for everything.

M100 & M50 Images

Hi Guys I'm in the process of refurbishing a M50 and M100. I've found a guy locally that can powder coat the cases and also screen print the artwork back onto the cases which is cool. The only problem I have is the the cases on my amps are in poor condition so I'm looking for some good quality high ...

You've checked that none of the outputs are shorted?

Re: M-Series ?

It was the one on eBay a few weeks back. Not as good as I'd like it to be but it will be.

I've not powered it up yet as the caps have been leaking. The replacements will be here today and if I get time this evening I'll pop them in and see how things are.

M-Series ?

I replaced the caps in my M50 last night. Good job I did that before powering it up as all three had been leaking. I've replaced all with Panasonic FC 3900uF 25v and the forth fits just fine. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/07/yputypav.jpg http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/05/07/meruse2a.jpg http://img.t...

Re: PG SA3.0X side panels

Hey Ricky,

Thanks for these and if you could make some templates that will be cool. :) No rush though as I think it's going to be a while before I get this amp up and running.

Are you sure you don't want anything for doing this?

Regards

Would you be able to take some pictures of the sides to?

PG SA3.0X side panels

Hello, I've been a user of the phorum for a while but never posted anything. It's good source of information for me as I love the older PG kit. Anyway, I've just picked up a SA3.0X that looks to have had a hard life. It's in need of repair and I think the previous owner started this and then lost in...
