I like suggestions if you think its a good idea. The Two boxes alone: http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj39/Juice0723/T...

yeah the program says each port length is 15". So a total length of 30"? So I need 30" length for each port then to make 33hz? Or just 15" for each port?

okay my outer box dimensions are: 33"width, 14" high, 11" depth. It's made out of 3/4" mdf. Shared airspace. Two 3inch port holes. And is winisd right about this. I put in the specs of 1cuft tuned to 33hz for a single sub box. Then I put in the 2cuft box tuned to 33hz for a dual ...

Okay, Could I make my 2.16cuft box be like my two 1cuft boxes. Could I just change the port size of the 2.16cuft box and get it to sound like my 1cuft boxes? The 1cuft boxes are tuned to 33hz. I looked at winisd but I don't know if they count the displacements of the port and sub.

yeah for the two separate boxes in my pics. I used the reaudio.com software for those. I think I might tune my next box to 28hz with 1.16cuft. I also look at winisd to see how it works out.

How wide should the slot port be? And how low should I tune? I was thinking it should be about 1.16cuft for the whole enclosure.

I don't hear any port noise. The ports are 3" diameter with the edge rounded off. The video I put up had these in vented boxes. I don't really like the sound of this box. I think because of the higher tunning. I don't have the lows that I like anymore. And the subs seem to bottom out easier. Pr...

I can't hear any port noise, so I think thats good. But I don't really like the sound of it because its higher tuned and I can't hear the low notes that I'm used to. And it seems like the subs bottom out easier. Probably of the slight increase in cuft in the enclosure. So I don't know what to do abo...

yeah I might get some pics up tomorrow. Made a single dual box for both. 2.16cuft tuned to 35hz, shared airspace. Got carpet on front, blue paint on back. Just have to wait for the paint to dry and put my subs in tomorrow. Hopefully it sounds good.

Yeah I don't really know what to do with the front stage. I was looking at the jbl 4x6's. And jbl 6x9's. They look alright. 4x6's only hold about 40watts rms. Mine may be loud because I have two subs instead of your one. And many other factors come into play. What kind of car do you have yours in? A...

you think I should move them? I have them mounted down with a couple of screws right now. I made a little amp rack for the jbl, so its tilted a bit so the m44 is a little under it. They couldn't fit side by side.

yeah I only have those powered off my head unit right now. I think I might put my m44 somewhere to power them again. I had them powered by the m44 before and it sounded good. More adjustability on the amp. My HU doesn't have a crossover built in. So my 6x9's right now are picking up the bass also.

yeah I never had the problem of mounting a amp down but my jbl amp is vibrating like crazy from these subs. So today I just put a screw on the amp to help it abit. Well by sounding good. I like when its very clear. And could actually hear what they are saying. Like my speakers now on some songs soun...

I was thinking of getting a matching Jbl amp. But I have a phoenix gold m44 that I probably use for the highs. I was using that amp for the subs. Until I got my jbl amp. Would it be a big difference having the 6.5" or 5.25" then the 4x6's? I think the 4x6's would be the easiest to install....

So I should go all sq with rsd components? And switch the rear 6x9's to rsd 6x9's as well? This is going to be a pretty loud sq install I think. Would the 6.5" be way better then the 5.25" ones?

I only have speakers in the rear too. Only sony xplod 6x9's. Thats all I am using for the highs. I was thinking of putting speakers up front though. But the stock location is 4x6's.

I got the dvc2ohm subs. I have some more power on these now though. I have the jbl gto1201.1. But everything is turned down on the head unit and amp. I only have a 100A fuse on it. It needs a 120A fuse so I keep the volume low. So did you see these on you tube or you just saying that other subs peop...
