Heck its scary when you say that your going to chop it up, because that looks like an easy fix (if its broke in the first place, which it MIGHT NOT BE). But hey its your amp, c...

Re: Need help identifying MS amp
Thanks! I bought it from tyroneshoes, he indicated that the caps had not been replaced, but that it worked fine. But I'm not going to pursue it since I didn't pay that much for it. I'm going to use the sink to make bridge caps for my other MS's.
Thanks though.

Need help identifying MS amp
Bought an "MS-250" on DIYMA and was just making sure it IS one.
I ask because it has an MPS-2220 base plate, so who knows what else is bogarted on this thing.

New install in 03 Corvette Z06
So I've been putting this off due to a shortage in funds, but Uncle Sam is sending me some happiness, and that's my cue to get going. It's an 03 Z06 factory everything (audio-wise). The previous owner put some sound deadening, but I won't know how good a job until I tear the interior down. I'm plann...

What he said. I'm about to install 3 MS-275's in my vette and would LOVE two 5" wide links for the project.wooferdog wrote:it would be cool to get some small sinks to use for amp links.

Does this look normal?
I purchased this MS-275 from a guy in Canada. Does this piece look right? The odd patina by the power terminals smelled like smoke. I powered it up and it plays music fine. Just checking.
