Re: Elite.1 amps
Even wiring at .5 ohms, I doubt the amp will ever see .5 when taking box rise into consideration. If you have the proper electrical to run .5 daily, I'd say you can get away with it.

Re: PG Cyclone IB in car?
rather then a speaker that moves forward/back to create the sound, the cyclone has a flat piece that turns clock-wise/counter-clock-wise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ffJ46-Xj9h4 I understand this. I've seen and heard Cyclones in 3 different setups. How this driver differs from a conventional lou...

Re: PG Cyclone IB in car?
I missed the part where this was going in a Crown Vic, hehehe... You could fit one of those Clarion 32" subs in that trunk... Hello from my IPad! Haha no kidding...only thing is, I don't want to take up the entire trunk with audio (I do but I am trying my hardest not to). Had 4 amps and 2x 18'...

Re: PG Cyclone IB in car?
I'm thinking IB might work. The Crown Vic trunk is 21 cubic feet but the VAS of a Cyclone is nearly 30 cubic feet. So while it won't truly adhere to the laws of IB, I feel that it would still perform well in a trunk the size of the Crown Vics. Am I thinking about this the right way? Sent from my ADR...

Re: PG Cyclone IB in car?
Thanks fellas. I have heard a Cyclone...as a matter of fact it was 2 Cyclones and 4 Xmax 10's powered by ZX Ti series amps in a Durango. Ever since then I was hooked. I am on the verge of picking one up to finally be able to experiment on my own. Maybe I'll just have to try the IB alignment out and ...

PG Cyclone IB in car?
I know the Cyclone was originally intended for IB use but I don't recall ever seeing someone use it thay way in a car...we all know it certainly was never marketed as an IB driver either. I have a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria LX Sport with a trunk big enough to fit a small army. I was thinking about doi...

Re: Help needed with some RC-car parts
Your in luck I live near both of the biggest hobby distributors in the world. When I get off work I'll look them up and get you a price for them. If they will fit in a small flat rate box shipping should be less than $20 to you. Or they will ship international they are tower hobbies and horizon hob...

Re: 4th order isobaric box/es.
Model a 4th order bandpass and if compound loading or using an isopair, cut the sealed volume in half. That's all you have to change...the ported section remains the same. There should not be much space at all in that 3rd section you are referring to.

Re: Re: Soundigital wallet sized class d amp.
I this a joke? I am usually very dubious about amps that have the "peak music power" listed above the basis rms power @ 4 ohms (like a lot of amps these days). I realize that this is purely a marketing ploy, but it still is dishonest and misleading. Regardless, I am especially suspicious ...

Interesting. I did have a more powerful amp on these 10's The brand was Massive Audio Model P1500 An impressive amp for the money Only reason i sold it was cause I wanted the wiring all on one side of the amp due to my setup That amp never cut off or ran out of juice so to speak. Do you really thin...

Just the factory alt and the usual battery. Nothing special. No big 3. Im not out do any SPL shows LOL But id like some slam. The 10's I have are pretty good. The resale value on them aint worth a dam so Ill be keeping them. So my best best is to find an amp that will do 2 ohm stereo. I didnt plan ...

Re: Re: Do I need a Line driver? Can I use 1 coil on a dual
I have the factory alternator, New battery. Zero gauge power and ground. If I get another 800.1 I my have to upgrade the alternator. Thats outta my price and outta my league. So Maybe Ill look into selling the 800.1 for 2 600.1's are a 800.2. The 100.2 is a beast and probably wont fit in my ride wi...
