Zx manuals
Hi
not been here for a while but just picked up a zx200 v1. Is it possible to get a manual for this version, the link to manuals only shows the V2 which doesn't include the vx200
Thanks

Hi I have been offered the above amps, they have no external graphics but have black crossover pots and soldered fan connections which from what I have read should be V2 model. Are there any other ways to confirm this thanks

Re: zx250 power connector
Just compared the 250 with a 450, 250 is soldered 450 bolted plus main board totally different layout. May be possible but would require major mods, better to buy good crimper. But thanks trickyricky for the replies
Contact altser, he has the terminal blocks that your looking for. I think he sells them for 20.00 each, ask him though. Like I mention you might have to dremel the side panel to fit the bigger block. Its possible.
Re: zx250 power connector
It's not damaged but the amp requires servicing and trying to fit the 4 awg that the car is wired with without correct crimpers is a problem, and I wanted all amps wiring to match if possible

I have had the caps changed (just in time) but was wondering is there any other components that could be upgraded to improve the amps. They will be running 3 way active. Amps are 500/450/2x 250 all V2, sub already sorted ,thanks Allan

Re: Can a tbat be used with a eq232?
Now I am confused because another person is telling me a tbat2 is the only unit that will work with eq232. If you have original TBA cable its very easy to modify it for use with the EQ232. If you need help let me know. hope you dont mind but i would like to know to modify a tba to eq232 , can it be...

Re: setting gains to match sub
Set the db gain to about 4, and turn the volume at the loudness you think will be all the way up, turn the gain up slowly till the sub starts to go pop pop pop, and back it down a jiggle. done and done, no need for silly o scope nonsense, that's for ballers... sorry but i think o-scope...

Re: setting gains to match sub
Oscilloscope is by far the best method. If you have access to one, it's as simple as playing a test tone and increasing the gains until you see the wave start to square off. Alternatively, using a multimeter is much safer than doing it by ear, but you won't get every drop of headroom the amp has to...

Re: setting gains to match sub
don't sweat overpowering your sub if you plan on setting it up with an o-scope. As long as you set it up to keep it out of clipping feel free to feed that thing as much power as you want too.... Do you know what it sounds like when a sub clips? Do you know what it looks like on a scope? We need to ...
