As for the comment on why the ends aren't polished also... They're steel. I suppose they could have been chromed, but everyone knows chrome doesn't match polished aluminum very well.

They are definitely polished. I almost wish they were nickel. They scratch way too easily. I just took the one I actually used out of the car and it took me about 8 hrs. to get it looking like new again.

I bought two of these polished 250s off of Ebay in about 1996. Supposedly the guy I bought these from had some type of relationship with PG. I'm just wondering if anyone knows anything about them like how many were made? Well, I tried to attatch a couple of pics., but I can't seem to make them show ...
