I double checked today. No other LEDs light up
Just those two I mentioned. Any advice on how to proceed?

Re: Need help with a bad Xenon 200.4
OK, I got some denatured alcohol and a can of air. Put a bulb across the terminals, cleaned it up and let it dry. Hooked it up and same noise, same LEDs light up.
Any thoughts of next steps? Thanks!

Re: Need help with a bad Xenon 200.4
I agree with rodeo, clean it up first (discharge first) might not fix the issue but at least give you a clean area to start working off of. I would try dusting it off with slight pressured air (make sure its oil-free compressor, or air in a can will work also). Thanks guys, ill try to clean it. Wha...

Need help with a bad Xenon 200.4
Hey guys, got a bad Xenon 200.4. When connected to power, and no input connection (just output), it sends a high pitched noise through the speaker. Two of the little LEDs light up by the power/ground terminals - D8 and D15. D8 lights up first, and then goes out, but D15 stays lit. Plus, as you can s...

Re: Lineage of Phoenix Gold amps
Thanks. I'm a little confused though...that website lists the MS/MPS and the M as 1992-1995 year of manufacture. Does this mean they were different lines sold at the smae time (like today, for example, we have Ti2 and Elite sold side by side). If so, which was the higher end line?

Lineage of Phoenix Gold amps
I'm in my mid 30s, and when I was in high school (1993-1997), I think the original zero point amps were popular. I've followed PG since then, but know very little of the older amps (M, MS, etc...). Can someone break it down for me. Years of manufacture, models, other helpful info like strengths (eg,...

That's, John. And welcome (again)! Your reply is much appreciated, and I am really looking forward to some great products from PG (can't wait to see the next gen elite amps).

Re: Message out to all PG employees...
I sent Morgan an email via LinkedIn about a month ago. I asked him to come on here and say hello. I don't think he has done that yet.

Thanks!
We went through this once already, but he was much younger and we were in a better financial situation. It will be ok though, he is a strong dog.

Our doggie needs leg surgery
Dear friends, It pains me have to reach out like this, but our beloved dog Nellsy needs help. Over the last week, we have noticed him limping quite a bit around the house. Vet has confirmed that he has torn his ACL in his left leg. This is very painful and will only get worse without surgery. 5 year...

Yeah. I'm wondering if the Zen9, if it even goes to market, is the last hurrah.

Yup, that's the guy. Glad to hear that...I was tempted to run the JL due to perfirmanc, but just didn't want the same sub everyone else has.

Re: PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
Thanks guys, really appreciate all the advice. I was on Craigslist yesterday, and found a guy who had a BNIB Boston Acoustics 12" G5 sub. I really like Bostons and have been using G3 10" subs in other installs, so I was quick to pick this one up. Guy was a really cool dude to boot. Anyways...

Re: PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
Just in general. I'm struggling finding a good SQ sub that also gets a bit louder. Only one folks keep coming back to is the JL W6 and W7, but I've never been a fan of JL for some reason. They are just too popular. I've been using Boston Acoustics 10" G3's and now had a chance to listen to the ...

PG Subs - do they lean toward SQ or SPL?
Never heard a PG sub (any PG sub). Where do they fall on the spectrum between SQ and SPL? Are they more accurate, or loud? What other (more mainstream) subs can you compare to (lets assume all else equal).

Re: mid and tweeter xover question
if your using a passive cross over network like what would come with any set of componants and throw on another woofer it will change the cross over point. If its an active system that is electronic then no it will not matter. I don't think that's what he is trying to do. He wants to run the mid an...

Re: mid and tweeter xover question
Should be ok from the x-over and amps perspective. You will need to figure out how to separately integrate it with the rest of the speakers tho. Do you have a DSP?

You can pick up the speed wire either at the PCM or at the back of the tach. On my 2002 Ls1 PCM (Camaro S/S harness) IIRC, the wire color was white.

Drew bought a set of speakers from me. Good buyer, great communication and paid very fast. Would not hesitate to deal with again.
