maybe you fried the subs.....the only can handle 60 watts rms.....i would try it out with another sub/speakers.....try measuring if it still is 4 ohms ....if you fried the voice coils the impedance maybe much lower and that could be the reason why the amps is going in protection mode

if you would mount the amp rack on top of the box you could maybe use some rubber suspensions to dampen the vibrations to the amp rack?

why not just go for 2 small angles......placed "under" the box, it would not be so visible then

i had mine in a sealed.....but i my new car i put them in a vented.....my opinion----> in a sealed they give a very good punch...but in a sealed they go a little deeper, but still gives a bit of punch.......

first of all....minor fault...it will be one set of 5,25 and one set of 6.5.... well the passive on the 5,25 and 6.5 is kind of "lack of space" ...just barelly could fit the 8 wires along the roof and down the a-pillar...would not even think of fitting 16 wires :? but i might look into put...

got new plans....i been chasing for amps lately and got hold of some gear...so this is the new plan....
2* 600ti running 2* 12" xmax subs....
1* 1000.2ti running 2* 8" midbass
2* 475 running front components

all split by eq and 406

yes the setup will be 475 for components.....one 600 for 2*8 midbass...and 2*600 for 12 deepbass.....and of course a EQ232 and a ax406 my stock alternator is 90 amps.....but anyway i would like to upgrade it to a 120 and at least 1 extra battery...(its a semi-camper van) and would be nice to have a ...

the space is no problemo......got a big van and its a diesel....think it might be an 90 og 95 amps alternator.....i will ry to make a drawing later of what i had in mind
