its possible but of course not recommended by most if u want amp to be efficient and last u must have enough current feeding ur system were at full volume ur not dropping below more then 1 volt also u will need to have atleast 2 in space all around the amp with atleast one fan pushin and one fan pul...

cause cap is expanding tricky ........... yea not sure if that's just the angle of picture but looks to me like u burnt the bottom of the board like a torch was used a 65 watt iron is plenty ht enough to remove them I use the weller 51 that's only 50 watts just clean board up with rubbing alchol and...

usally signs they are bad or are suspect ull see the foil on the tops and sides shinking showing the silver casing a way to see if there slightly leaking is to use a piece of white notebook paper and slide it under cap on all sides see if any liquid is coming out

if u plan to remove then add a shot of new solder then make sure ur solder gun is atleast 40 watt or better the hotter the better since ull spend less time on via u want to keep tip of solder gun on the middle when u see the solder moltn slowly work cap to one side then do same to other side little ...

just push down on the top plastic part I wouldn't take it off there a bitch to take off and put back on with out tearing the plastic on the sides if its bulging u will feel it most time the rail caps are fine the problem with the pg caps are the power supply filter caps

I can understand ur logic and I understand ur lack of experience water is only bad for electronics if it has power applied of if u let water sit on it for a long period of time and if u shake the board to get most water off then use a blow dryer u will never have water left under componets or in bad...

yea make sure u did not put 1 in backwards ,all screws were put back in and are tight and all insulators are on correctly
