Re: Bass CUBE remote issue - need one!

Dude! The yellow ones are very rare. Dont paint or PC it another color. Especially one of the 2 common colors!
If that is your plan, I will trade you a white or black one.

Re: What do these sell for now adays? pg fuse block

This is too funny. I bought the other set when i took all of his battery terminals  The terminals werent in as good of shape as i hoped so i passed them on to a buddy for his hydraulic setup on his Nissan hardbody. The distro blocks went to another buddy who runs all Ti so I figured they were b...

I am also curious to hear opinions on these mids. I have heard all good things and the price is hard to beat.

Re: Question about MX3i & AX-406A finish

There is one Ti Mx3i and it is a prototype. It too is in the hands of a collector. I dont believe there was ever a Ti AX406 but you can never say never with PG. You seem to be on a few unicorn hunts lately, lol. Honestly, you have a much better chance at replicating the Ti finish before buying the p...

Re: Phoenix Gold EQ230 modified?

If that mod was to overcome bad outputs they most likely would have just added jumpers to new rca jacks I think. That makes me think the dangly set is a spliced in, extra set of outputs. The thing I dont understand is if they were trying to avoid using Y splitters, why make the extra set hang way of...

Just wanted to let you guys know Jerry DesMazes has been posting lately on the PG classifieds page on FB. He has posted some pics of old installs and bits.
I tried to tag Scott but think he changed his FB name?

Good to hear your amps are fixed up and on the way home.
Dont forget about the Powercore though, same problem.

That is strange. I could see having revisions. Even different color boards. But each unit being different is wacky.
I have not opened the ones in my 6.5" set. Ill have to take a peek.

Re: Young kid under my PG wing!!

That is how i got started. A guy i work with (still) who is a little older steered me in the right direction. Now we basically feed off of each other. I bought a lot of my first gear from him 17 years ago. Now he has bought a ZX350, ZX450, Basscube, Pld1, a gang of MB quarts and his distro blocks of...

Re: AGU Fuse Powered Distribution Blocks

I have only ever run the glass AGU fuses. I did have one fail that looked perfect. Thats back to that quality thing though.

I have a bunch of these fuse blocks, both Ti and black. Only recently aquired my first KF block. They do hold their value.

Re: Amp Rack- Carpet or Vinyl?

I found a carpet that matches my trunk perfect. Made an amp rack that acts as a false wall in the front of the trunk. Other than the small sealed sub box, you cant see anything in my trunk. I like it, its clean. The rear seat folds and locks with ignition key so its still accessible.

Re: Tantrum 10 farad powergrid

The Tantrum amps dont fall victim to the PG cap curse. Thats not to say they cannot fail, they just arent on "the list".
The 1200.1 does have a reputation of failure though. The part that goes is not made anymore so very hard to find for a fix.

Re: bfowlers new ride and install!

Nice ride man. The Speed6 is a crazy sleeper.
I also run a Roadster66 in my Accord. I was just wondering, how much of a pain was setting up/tuning the amp in that position? I did a similar mount on a dividing panel and had to pull it down to get the thing tuned.

If welding cable is flexible enough for your needs, go for it.
I also fuse off the battery, then again at a fused distro block before splitting to the amps.

There are many different versions of Basscubes. More than any other component i have seen. To go with the 2 different logos on the TI and black, I personally have 4 different white Cubes. They all have the squiggly logo. 2 are a light grey, one is black and another is grey with a black outline. To a...
