Re: 1986 gmc cummins crew cab build
Glad to see those PG amps I sold you are still there. Do you plan on using them on a different install?

Re: 1986 regal Un limited
I wish I could do fiber glass everything but it's alot of work and super time consuming. Plus to have it painted to match would be awesome along with the wall. But it would be very expensive. I'm just glad to have it all back in there. I can't wait to hear those custom ppi amps. I'm tackling the sec...

Re: 1986 regal Un limited
The cool thing about this set up is I can switch those Viper d2500.1 to ppi pc 2350 which I've never heard before. Or go back to 2 zpa 0.5. The board that the Zpa amps for mids and high are on is hinged and lifts up to reveal the line drivers and bass cube. The 15 farad Ti power core is located unde...

Re: 1986 regal Un limited
Wow..... yea Solar Vision did that system and screwed it totally up. They do good work but are bias to the people. If I was an old man with a classic car with a basic system they would have made it look good. But they do not like it when you want a system that will shake the earth. They told me that...

Re: 1986 regal Un limited
Yes all passive. Alpine f17t comps in the doors and spx 177A in the rear. 2 pair 3 ways in doors and 3 set of 6 1/2 comps in the wall. Same wall and doors from the first install. 1986 regal with 6000 zpa watts is now a regal unlimited with 6,800 watts.

Re: zpa 0.5 vs ppi pc 2350
Idk. I have sold 2 of the not so best shaped and worked on ZPA amps and had semi negative feedback. Either it's the bias or just faulty things here and there. To me the crossover cards and bypass cards always rattled loose and just seem Un reliable. I have 3 zpa 0.5 amps that are totally restored fr...

Re: zpa 0.5 vs ppi pc 2350
I think I'm gonna try and sell some recapped 0.5's and go to the 2350 ' s I just had bad luck with the Zpa for years running them as bass amps. If I could sell a couple viper d2500.1 for cheap and a couple zpa 0.5's for dirt cheap I'd but the 2350 ' s I don't care really if I take a loss. I just wan...

zpa 0.5 vs ppi pc 2350
What amp is better a zpa 0.5 or a ppi pc2350 At a 4 ohm mono load. More watts and sound?

Re: Buyer beware: anthonyregal86
Well lesson learned. I have 3 more purple boxes if I ever decide to run zapco instead I know to sell my amps for more because of original box. I didn't even take him up on his offer or my demand. I sent him the box. And his "oh thanks for the box I'll leave you good feed back" also wasn't ...

Re: Buyer beware: anthonyregal86
In all honesty I regret selling them. I kept non recapped amps with blank plexis. But I wanted to make someone else happy. To me the plexus don't matter too much. But its very hard letting them go due to my addiction to these amps. When I took the pic I didn't intend for the box questions and I had ...

Re: Buyer beware: anthonyregal86
I still have it.... I just had some recapped zpa amps I had extra. I even kept the ones that I had blank plexi covers for and amps that need to be recapped. Do someone a favor and sell them a recapped zpa amp with a mint plexi and re send the purple box and still had to be "buyer beware" smh

Re: Buyer beware: anthonyregal86
Since we haven't received 12 inches of snow every other day I was able to go to the hardware store and buy "clear tape" and send his box in that fashion.

Re: Buyer beware: anthonyregal86
Still no reply on if he got his purple box. BTW I had so many under the table offers from egay members that I forgot he was the one who asked about the purple box. My baaadd. And I mailed his purple box and the brown pg box did not "pull off in one pull". I'd bet my car on it. I value thes...

Well he got his "purple box" and amp came to him just fine. Wanna be a cry baby about cut strips of bubble wrap? And all my amps sold for what they were worth. All worked and all were received in shape I was given in the first place quit begin a nit picking crybaby. I still have 6 more and...
