So should I run each channel for each coil on the subs or in series and bridge the amps?

I just got a respond back from the original owner I bought the zx from. He told me they both have been service a year ago with new caps. Should I just take the cover apart and look for myself? I'm hoping to run both amp on the two sub since I'm already running a tantrum 600.4 on miss and high. Also ...

One other thing. One of the zx amp led doesn't light up but it function fine. The owner I bought it from locally said it when out awhile back when he had it. Is there any parts inside I should look for?

Subs are dual 4 ohm. I don't think the zx have new caps. But I did hook them up to my iPhone at home and it both sounds loud and clean.
