Elite 6 crossover point
Well I got the components all installed. Sealed and deadened the doors. I have an Eclipse Head unit that has some crossover points on it 63, 80, 100 and when I set the sub, it automatically sets the highs at the same point, I can't choose different crossover frequencys. Right now I have it set at 63...

Yeah, I read a lot about that. The stock location is in the upper dash near the base of the A pillars. I definetely don't want to put them there, the stock sound sucks. I don't want to cut a big hole in my door panel either, so I'm using the surface mount housing's that came with the tweeters and us...

I think Im just going to wrap some ensolite around the molding on the inside of the door panel, but have it stick out enough so that it will meet the door panel when attached, that way all the sound with go through the speaker grill and not back inside the door. Yeah I was thinking that. The stock door panel has that hard plastic. I was thinking of cutting in and replacing the area with a grill mesh but I decided I dont want to cut a big whole in the stock door panel, I might screw something up. I bought these to put in my 08 Altima. Any tips on installing these? I plan on mounting them in the stock location on some MDF brackets, either 3/4 or 1 inch thick.
