Ok y'all...sub ch stable and max at 1ohm. I'm considering the JL 8w7 but it's 3ohm.
Is there concern at that impedance vs 1ohm, being that I will get WAY less from my amp?

(Ti1600.5 manual says 550rms at 2ohm and 800rms at 1ohm)

So more to ponder here - ugh

OR, does running it at 1ohm with the gain held back better and not effect it so much?

Don't really want to run a solid 1ohm on the sub channel ... and not quite 2ohm.
Is it OK to use one dvc at 2 & the other 8 ... on line impedance calc says it comes to 1.8 ...

Is there any harm doing this?

I'm not firing up into the seat nor am I using the standard style pickup under-seat box design ... I'm taking a totally different approach. Thus my reasoning for going with 8" .....

NOW, out of the blue - i've come across a SWEEET deal on a ti 1600.5!!! new-school ti 1600.5 or old-school MS2125 & MS275 ?? So, anybody got words of wisd...

Which format would be the safest AND best way to run the MS2125? Bridged 4ohm vs 2ohm... I read that 2ohm - they get toasty hot and need fan-age!! Remember - I plan running 2 Alpine typeR 8" BTW, I've been wondering, what's the basic equation is for figuring the impedance of multiple speakers/s...
