Yes, just quickly tuned it up. I also put an o-ring under the plug to make sure there are no air leaks.

Finished, went for the Speakon in the end. Great quality connector, very happy with the end result. Thanks for all the input everyone.

An update on this thread.... this is my amp, and last night we confirmed that only the right channel is affected. Currently the sub is running of the left channel only, and it seems to be OK (albeit lacking in power).
