I am thinking its some sort of coating cos the sub plays just perfectly fine Just curious cos I never seen a sub with a coil intentionally colored black lol.

I just got some Ti2 15 subs and noticed the coil is black on both of them. Usually this means burnt but when I hooked them up they worked just fine. Had me baffled so I am wondering if PG has some sort of black coating over the coils?? Anyone knows??
