But like somebody said...It was too late for them. I don't know if it was...

I haven't got to listen to it much, for I am still in the middle of the project, and now that one of the channels of my JBL 75.4 II is sounding like pooo its put my install on a hold... But I like them in ported because of the low frequency wooping effe...

So the glue itself should be enough, and use the screws as clamps (if you don`t have real clamps) as Bfowler said... Cool! No more need for screws then!! :D

The silicone won't crack. Doens`t hurt to go over the edges with it, so use and abuse it!

When you have 1200w on a RSdC, yes you will need crews, glue, silicone, BRACES!!!! and some more screwssssss!

Hardening, or you could mix saw dust with wood glue (its a mess but works very well) if you dont want to buy the silicone.

Hahahaha Thats funny :D It reminds me of a home system I had with a 15" sub hooked up to it! I could only play mp3 songs on it!! Otherwise the cd would skip like crazy! It may or may not help to put some rubber tape or pieces, or foam, where the cd player mount touches the panel. If it doesn`t ...

stipud is right. Majette, the port can be calculated here according to what size of box you want: http://www.reaudio.com/speaker_box/LPort_Box_Calc.html or http://www.bcae1.com/spboxnew2.htm (my favorite) You will probably have to go with a slot port, because the round ports are going to be too long...

Winisd shows a box of .588 with a qtc of .703 sealed. But shows the optimal SQ box as a ported box 1.238ft^3 tunned to 26hz. The ported box shows a flat response all the way down to 32hz.

I drive a little hatchback, it is called chevy lacceti there in canada and suzuki reno down here. Same car. My box is a 2.5cub ported tunned to 23hz. I dont remember where my gains are right now, I havent messed with it yet. The 4x6 might hold with a high pass of about 100hz in your doors. The 6x9 s...
