Re: PG M50 Where to find PS rectifier specs
Are the rectifiers burned? I ask that because you should be able to pull a part number off of those rectifiers and see if there are equivalents on the internet. I have an M50 and I can check on those if you like, just let me know.

Re: Phoenix Gold Sapphire Series
the images are not showing up for me. saphire was an entry level for pg but it would have been a premium level for most of the other brands of the time. Next to the other pg line of the time it just was 2nd fiddle to a stradivarius but certainly not a bad sounding or looking amp. I updated the link...

Phoenix Gold Sapphire Series
Hey there guys, my name is Kris and I own 11 PG amps, some components, a sub, etc... I have to say after listening to many different series of PG amps, the Sapphire series amps are freaking amazing. They are not rated at very high power figures, but this puppies really rock and never shut off. I hav...

Re: Enough power for SR6500 components?
welcome. Bi amping adds some flexibility when done right but also adds time to the equation in tuning it. I don't mind the additional tuning time. I like clean, very loud systems. Welcome you can use one M25 bridged for the left channel and the other for the right channel. Than you have perfect ste...

See what I did there....  Anyways, I just installed a set of Polk Audio SR6500 components in my daily driver and I am powering them from a single PG M25. The sound is absolutely amazing and it's e...

Re: momstang rebuild begins.
It's cool brother. If side exhaust is your thing, that's sweet and to each their own. Only issue I've had with side exhaust is they usually rob some horse power. I see that you are going forced inducted which will make the side exhaust more of an issue since the higher cylinder pressures will want m...

Re: New to the Forum!!
Sounds good brother!! Post up some pics of that SN95. Mine is actually a 248A or AKA a "GTS". It's basically a stripped down version of the GT (like the old LX's used to be with the old fox bodies). Factory it was equipped with 16" wheels, power locks, power windows, 5 speed, cruise c...

Re: Any Old Schoolers?
What's considered old? My first "system" in a car back in 1994 consisted of a pro-logic Sony Tape player, with Sony mids and highs along with an M50 powering two first gen JL 12W1 subs in a band-pass box. I'm 40 these days, so that was back when I was in my teens, lol. I'm still rocking a ...
