Getting back into car audio after a long break. A lot has changed. Class D is everywhere. SPL has completely taken over. I do see some good SQ discussions here and there, mostly people from Europe though. Installation quality has plummeted. Back in the 2000's, even SPL vehicles had amazing installs....

+1 for opening the forum up. forums are still very popular. zero interest in facebook. I'm on four or five other audio forums with very consistent daily traffic. they're all much broader though. I've seen a lot of new interest in old school car audio, so maybe focus on that?

Last system was in 2006 with a/d/s components, diamond audio subs, and orion hcca for power. Have been heavily into home and pro audio since then, but after a long break from car audio, finally building a new system for this summer.
