Re: Ti210D2 thoughts?
40mm excursion I would love to have one but they are too big to fit under the rear seat of my crew cab truck. I would say they are PGs best 10s after the Elites.

Phoenix Gold R3 sub reviews
Any of you guys tried out the R3 subs? I am thinking about replacing my old school solo baric s10d with a fresh R310d2. I am limited on mounting depth and the R3 is only 5" deep but has 30mm xmax. I also like the sensitivity is 90db. It would be installed in a 2500HD crew cab truck, under the r...

Re: Planning install and need opinions on amps
DAMN that car is sweet! I LOVE black. I'll bet its a blast to hang the ass-end of that thing out sideways! As for amps, I would say if you are going for best sound then use the elites. If you are going for show then might as well use the older stuff with the display boards. Use a clear or custom ple...

Mine is screen printed, no sticker. The screws are 4-40 Phillips flat head tapered machine screws. They are counter-sunk.

Re: Let's see your stash
I love your stash john. Are you trying to get any more limited edition amps? What other series amps are working on now? (Asking out of curiosity) I have an MS2250 that Im working on at the moment. I got the shroud powder coated, and it turned out fantastic. The plexi is faded and heat warped, so Im...

Re: Working on my ZX display
I used to have one of those breakers in my first car! It was great for being able to quickly disconnect the power cable from the battery. Because we were always messing around trying new amps, processors, and different combos, it was nice to be able to open the breaker manually for working on the sy...

MS 2250 fan shroud screws
I need all of the fasteners for the fan shroud on my 2250. What are these 4 large slotted fasteners? They look like quarter-turn style maybe? I think the smaller screws are available at the hardware store, but not in gold or brass colors. Thanks for your help! More displays coming. IMG_01861.jpg

Got the 215ix added into the display. All the holes are drilled, and the board is ready for carpet.

Re: Working on my ZX display
So where is all of this wall art going up in? Bedroom, living room, man cave? Bedroom and basement living room. As I get more stuff I will spread it around the house. Were there any fuse holders or distros made in that Color scheme? Not that I have seen. It would be pretty easy to paint some of the...

Re: Working on my ZX display

Like $100-$150? also was curious u still have the ms 1000 or know any one looking to sell one working or broken is good too Yo...

Working on my ZX display
Here is what I have done so far with my ZX stuff. Thought I would show you guys now and get some feedback. I bought a 215ix, but I don't have it yet. Anything else Im missing? Suggestions on layouts? I was considering wiring up all the amps and accessories (for display) like I did with the MS1000. I...

thanks man, that is very helpful. Since you called me out for my eyesight failing, (LOL), I went and got a bright flashlight, and yes, the caps are a very dark blue. Looks like a faded black.

Re: A peak inside my nickel MS 1000
Ricky, those photos are not what I have. Mine are black with a gold stripe, not blue. The original caps in question are 2200uF, 16v, 18mm diameter on my boards. EDIT: This is the closest thing I could find on mouser http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Panasonic/EEU-FC1C822/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMtZ1n0r9vR22S...

Re: A peak inside my nickel MS 1000
Man you guys are relentless. I read the tutorial on replacing them and it doesn't look hard for me to do. Where can I get replacement caps that are of the same color and dimensions as OEM? I don't want it to look any different physically. The black and gold caps look perfect in there. When I checked...
