They work for me, and well at that.

A bit of a late response...... If the tweeters are still new, give them some playing in time, and they should tame slightly. Focal tweeters for some weird reason take a long time to burn in. After a few weeks or maybe even a month or 2 or playing in, then decide if the tweets are still too bright, a...

My stock alternator was 55A, and it did fine with only the X200.4 on it. The lights used to dim a little when the volume was cranked up, but nothing too serious. I upgraded the alternator because 55A to me didn't seem like much if I planned on running multiple amplifiers, especially one being a powe...

I have the same 2 amps in my car, also in an SQ setup. I have done the big 3 upgrade, as well as upgrading my factory alternator to about double it's capacity (now 110A). I've also run 2G cabling from the battery to the trunk, and then used a fused Audison distro block to split the power cable betwe...

I have the model one down on the X592 in my daily driver, over here it's labelled the KDC-6641. Awesome deck, the SQ is superb, and for a daily driver it's the dog's nads. I haven't yet tried out the Ipod controls (don't have an Ipod), but I use it with a decent sized memory stick and it works reall...

I've only seen pics of the Onyx Xenons, and they look the shizz, for sure. I've also seen transparent perspex covers, and they look even sexier. Sadly, though, I haven't been able to source either one of them. BlackOnBlack, how difficult would it be to get a regular silver one anodized/sprayed and t...

I have a Kenwood KDC-W808 (I think it's from the Excelon range, but in the USA, it has a different model number). It features the d-mask facility, which is great here in South Africa, deters thieves..... It also has a great 24 bit d/a convertor, and has a nice clean look to it. Very old school...
