I have had great luck with hikvision ip cameras and blue iris program for the PC Poe cameras means power over Ethernet No need to run anything but a cat 5e cable and a Poe switch. 4core i7 processor will run 10 cams in 1080p 20 fps. Regular core2 duo will run 2 or three Have done a few installs in G...

Re: How to repair a rubber speaker surround?

I have had luck in the past with black silicone (beater work trucks ect) Smeared it on front and back of rip so the silicone can actually go threw the damage and glue it threw the middle also. Make it thin and spread it away from the damage a inch or so. Let it dry a few days before use. Had them la...

90hz and up should be fine, just look at them move when you do your tuning and make sure they are not moving to crazy

Re: what would you do using pg elite speaker

Do you have room to run ti9? My exp with the old elites is the mids don't last long playing mid bass at high volume by themselves. Spider gets weak and the surrounds come loose. ...sound great doing it though. If you have room I would run the mids and tweets off the passive on the front and ti9 off ...

Re: ZX 600TI Bridged at 1 ohm load?

Last time I ran a ti600 into a 1 ohm load (13 or so years ago) it overheated and shut down in around 10 minutes.
Bridged at 2ohms they pull a lot of amps and run hot but will hang in there as long as you have air space around the amp.

you can always try at 4 ohms and see what you think

Many ways to skin a cat  My understanding is that on mass produced discs they are made from a physical master not burned from a file

Re: Mp3 means less bass?

Have to agree here, the cd sounds so much better than an i-tunes track, its a bug bear of mine. I would rather pay more for quality. Just on a side note I used to notice the difference between cd's too, some sounded better, anyone else used to notice this? Yes, some cd's deff sound bad. They are pr...

Looks like a good use of space to me.
When you have the ports that close to a wall of the box it will change the tunning a little because the port will act like it is longer

They are not much to look at, stamped steel basket, plain non vented magnet. crossovers have a 0 and a +3 setting for the tweeters no -3 I found the tweeters to be harsh as hell at first, they are breaking in now and sound better every day. Mid bass is great if they get a little air. I had mine in t...

The wiring sounds good, how many amps does your alternator put out?
I agree that with 2 battery you should not need a cap, but you can always experiment when you have it installed.

Re: Titanium vs RSD

The ti is class a/b, the rsd is class d.
The rsd should hit harder and use less amps to do it.
The ti will sound better (my opinion) and tax you electrical system more

...with 2 ti800.1 running you will really need to beef up your electrical system

Thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm sure they are good amps but Im on the hunt for a rsd500.4 now. I really need to hear one of these in an install. The specs seem a little anemic with the 86db snr. Thats why my last Memphis went down the road. It had a shit ton of power I could hear the thing ...

Do tantrum amps have triple darlington output?

Im thinking of using a tantrum 600.4 to run my work car. I like the look of the board layout, but I don't know how to tell if it is a triple darlington design? I am a little hesitant to buy from the tantrum line because I hated the sq of the 1200.1 I bought when they first came out. I realize the 60...
