the build quality is very good on the exodus drivers. I own the tempest and like it pretty well, in an IB setup. it does roll off pretty early though, which suprises me. I would look at the graphs on the white papers if you can find them and make sure they will fit your needs.

I thought in the old days they said they made 3 of them.

I have a 200.2 that did the same thing. ended up having some issues with the amp, not related to the fan. and sent it in for a repairbut havent powered it since. and has a new board anyway so would assume that the fan is new now as well. I think the bearings on the fans get worn and make some noise ...

I have a friend that works for an authorized dealer and can get the roadster for 1k each new, with warranty.

I was stupid and got rid of one of my 100.4 and cant trade back for it because it will make 8 ohm power and my buddy wont come off it.

actually it isnt lit at all. not sure why but the fan comes on and there is obviously voltage at the b+ and remote and a good ground

I have a xenon 200.2 that will power up, the fan even comes on but will not pass audio. I have changed the amp out to a memphis 75x4 and all is good. any ideas what could be the issue. also changed power cables with my xenon 600.1 and it is fine, so I am sure it isnt a power issue.

my question then. If all amps sound the same, do all head units also sound the same? If electronic differences dont make a difference in amps then why in source units

the roadsters are out. have had one in my hand in a retail store. and they are beautiful

I personally like the looks, compared to the rsd. and the magnet boot wont be seen in most installs. I am all for them trying to bring a better driver to market. I am in the market for a new sub and may look into this a little more.

ghetto bargain seems to be in the works

with it being a class d amp I dont think you would want to run it past the x-over point.

how does one have a sweet PG amp and end up with some low end JL subs?

I am really ready to get the xenon's in and powering something but have to get a real cut up box built first. I have real high expectations for them. I havent had a pg amp since the early ms250 and mps2220 that I had in the early 90's and I still miss those amps

how do you think the rsd12 would sound with the 400.1 and about 1.4 for box volume

I am doing a system in a reg cab silverado. the amps will be xenon 100.4 and 400.1. I have an idmax 12 but will have to fight for space for the driver, would consider the rsd but the box requirements would also be unruly. any ideas how the zr12 would work and what kind of performance to expect from ...
